Terms and Conditions

1          TERMINOLOGY USED IN THIS DOCUMENT

 

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions the following terms will apply:

 

“Bookings” means when a client is booked into any event held at or by Purple Pyramid or any Third-Party Therapists (TPT) that is renting a room from Purple Pyramid.  Bookings also covers bookings taken in person, by phone, website or Third-Party Websites.

 

“Events” means any and all, but no limited to, classes, courses, readings, services, treatments, workshops etc that are held at or by Purple Pyramid.

 

“Gift Voucher” means Purple Pyramid will issue “Gift Vouncher” (which is piece of paper that specifies a specified value that can be given as a present and exchanged for goods) in exchange for money to the value the client would like the Gift Voucher for.

 

“Group Events” means where there is more than one person expected to be on the event.

 

“Loyalty Scheme” means a discount scheme offered off of specific classes.

 

“Purple Pyramid” provides counselling as well as spiritual and holistic events and products.

 

“Readings” means a mediumship or psychic reading that is given to you from a person who deems themselves as a Medium or Psychic where they will give evidence from the spirit world and or clarity on your current situation.

 

“Third Party Websites” means any bookings that are done via other websites such as but not limited to Eventbrite and Facebook.

 

2          PAYMENTS
2.1.1         Once you make a booking, we will send you an invoice for your booking which will need to be paid within 24 hours to secure your booking for the event you wish to attend.
2.1.2         Please check your spam folder for their arrival if they don't appear in your inbox.
2.1.3         In order to secure you booking for any of our events, the event will need to be paid for in full in advance of the event.
2.1.4         Please note that deposits paid for any event are non-refundable.  
2.1.5         Due to the limited number of places, if the remaining balance is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to offer your place to a student on the waiting list.
 

3          BOOKINGS

 

3.1           4-week Bookings
3.1.1         These are booked in as consecutive weeks.
3.1.2         If you do not advise you cannot attend one week then you will lose that booking slot.
3.1.3         If you advise us, you cannot attend a specific week then we will happily move you booking to the next available class.
3.1.4         The 4-week bookings are valid for 6 months.

3.2           Third Party Websites
3.2.1         Once you book online, you will then receive a follow up email booking you into the appropriate class via our system.
3.2.2         Please allow up to 24 hours for the 2nd email and check your spam folder for their arrival if they don't appear in your inbox.
 

4          CANCELLATION
4.1.1         For our events we respectfully ask for a 48-hour notice period if you cannot make the appointment so we can offer the slot to someone else.  
4.1.2         If you do not show up to your appointment without any notice, we cannot guarantee a future appointment to our events your booking will not be transferred to another date.
4.1.3         If you wish to cancel an event you have booked that has been paid in full within 14 days of you receiving your booking form, you must email purplereception@outlook.com.  If you fail to inform us within that 14 days all payments are strictly non-refundable, however we will rebook you on to the next event
4.1.4         Please note that all bookings are non-refundable, except at the discretion of the therapist.
4.1.5         However, they are transferrable, providing we are advised at least 48 hours prior to the event date so we can amend our records accordingly.
4.1.6         Transferred tickets are valid for 3 months.

5          DEFERRING OR TRANSFERRING BOOKINGS
5.1.1         If you need to defer an event booking to a later date, please email purplereception@outlook.com.
5.1.2         If you wish to discuss transferring your booking to another person prior to the event, please email: purplereception@outlook.com.
5.1.3         We will happily exchange any Purple Pyramid course/workshop booking for a credit note, up to 7 days prior to it taking place. Credit notes will be valid for all future Purple Pyramid events, within 12 months and subject to availability.
5.1.4         Between two and thirty days prior to the event Purple Pyramid will consider requests for a deferral, exchange or transfer if appropriate to another person on an individual basis.
5.1.5         All requests must be in writing and sent to purplereception@outlook.com.  Please note a rebooking fee of £40 for courses and workshops and £20 for our other events may apply.

6          EVENTS

6.1           General Information
6.1.1         The views of the therapist are not cast in stone and the therapists is aware and respects that other valid views and beliefs exist outside those offered during the events.
6.1.2         No video or audio recordings of any kind is permitted at our events.
6.1.3         Any and all photographs may be used by Purple Pyramid for the purposes of marketing or advertising without any payment or compensation being offered.
6.1.4         If you do not wish to appear in any photographs, please let us know at the time.

6.2           Event Postponement
6.2.1         If circumstances beyond our control necessitate the postponement of a course/workshop/class or event, we reserve the right to offer alternative dates. In this instance we would make every effort to offer a suitable date convenient for all concerned.
6.2.2         Event postponement – please see clause 13.2

6.3           Group Events 
6.3.1         If you end up being the only person booked on a particular date, then the class or course may not go ahead.
6.3.2         If possible, we will try and bring in a former student to accompany you on the class or course so that you get the best out of your training but that may not always be possible.
6.3.3         We will either discuss training on a one-to-one basis or offer you alternate dates.
6.3.4         We always aim to give at least 24 hours’ notice should we need to make any changes and reserve the right to do so.

6.4           Medical Conditions
6.4.1         The Psychic Development Psychic workshops/events are not appropriate for anyone suffering from epilepsy, clinical depression or any other nervous or psychiatric condition and attendees must be 18+ years to attend.
6.4.2         We do not diagnose or provide medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.  
6.4.3         Our services are not a substitute for these professional services, and we recommend that you contact the relevant, professional, qualified advisor if your query is of this nature.

6.5     Disclaimer      

6.5.1         Purple Pyramid disclaims all liability for any direct or indirect loss, damage or expense suffered in connection with any events.
6.5.2         No Liability is accepted for loss of or damage to property for example watches, jewellery, cameras or clothing, losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in travel services, sickness, weather, strikes, riots, war, quarantine or any other cause.

7          READINGS

7.1           General Information
7.1.1         Remember, you are in charge of your own destiny, you can change any outcome at any given time.
7.1.2         We cannot guarantee that any specific person will come through.  
7.1.3         Please bear in mind that information may come from sources other than close loved ones.  These may be spirit guides, angels, friends, neighbours, distant relatives or even from connections from when we are too young to remember.
7.1.4         You may have to search for the connection of evidence given, things aren't always apparent immediately.
7.1.5         Whilst you will be given the opportunity to ask questions, we cannot guarantee an answer.  Sometimes they are things that we mustn't know the answer to at that particular time. This is usually down to a lesson that we must discover for ourselves.
7.1.6         Our services are not a substitute for these professional services, and we recommend that you contact the relevant, professional, qualified advisor if your query is of this nature.
7.1.7         We make no guarantees of any particular outcome although we do promise to provide our best professional efforts, skills and care and to deliver the services as advertised.

7.2           Legislation
7.2.1         As per current legislation, all readings are for entertainment purposes only.
7.2.2         Readings are for over 18's only unless accompanied by an adult.

7.3           Clients’ responsibility
7.3.1         It is your responsibility to keep track of your appointment.
7.3.2         Please enter into a reading with an open mind, you may not hear what you 'want' to hear but you will receive what you 'need' to hear at that time.  
7.3.3         Please be honest, personally responsible and respectful of other people's time, clients who are rude, disrespectful or dishonest may prefer to look elsewhere.  
7.3.4         We do not tolerate any form of abuse.  We believe in treating others as we wish to be treated ourselves.

7.4           Purple Pyramid’s Rights
7.4.1         We reserve the right to refuse to read for anyone who may be deemed as addicted to psychics.
7.4.2         No refunds are offered, you are paying for the reader's time spent which is offered in good faith.
7.4.3         We reserve the right to refuse to read for anyone who is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7.5           Purple Pyramid’s Recommendations
7.5.1         We do not encourage addiction to psychics, you are in control of your own life, we merely offer guidance, not a way out of personal responsibility.
7.5.2         If we sense that you are in a distressed or anxious frame of mind, we may ask you to wait until you are calm and focussed so that your reading is not influenced by your current emotional state. Sometimes when someone is highly charged, they don't really want to hear what is being said and that is completely counterproductive.

7.6           About Readings
7.6.1         Remember, you are in charge of your own destiny, you can change any outcome at any given time.
7.6.2         Sometimes the best evidence is when the sitter discovers the meaning at a later stage.  
7.6.3         We are not here to be tested; our reputation speaks for itself.  
7.6.4         We always strive to do our best and no reader can ever guarantee 100% accuracy, we are human after all, and any information received is down to interpretation.
7.6.5         With readings, we cannot guarantee that any specific person will come through.  
7.6.6         Please bear in mind that information may come from sources other than close loved ones.  These may be spirit guides, angels, friends, neighbours, distant relatives or even from connections from when we are too young to remember.

7.7           Recording Readings
7.7.1         At the client’s request, Purple Pyramid can offer to provide an optional recording service for readings or certain therapies where applicable.
7.7.2         Whilst every effort is made to provide this service, Purple Pyramid cannot guarantee the success of a recording nor shall we be held responsible for any disappointment caused by circumstances beyond our control due to electronic malfunction of recording or computer equipment, electronic transfer of files via third party services such as e-mail, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cable or any other such transfer.
7.7.3         Clients are welcome to take notes and use their own equipment i.e., mobile phone as a backup.  
7.7.4         The recording is offered as a courtesy of the reading and does not constitute the basis of a reading.
7.7.5         It is offered as a choice, free of charge and has no monetary value. Providing a recording is successful, the file will be held on a secure hard drive for up to four weeks after the recording was made.
7.7.6         After this time, due to limitations of available hard drive space, files will be securely deleted and rendered irretrievable.

8          FLEDGLING SERVICE

8.1           Disclaimer
8.1.1         By taking part in this event, you will have paid to witness a Demonstration of Mediumship.
8.1.2         This demonstration is a form of experiment; no claims are made, and results cannot be guaranteed.
8.1.3         You are not guaranteed a personal message.
8.1.4         You may see or hear things which you have not experienced before.
8.1.5         If you feel vulnerable at any time during the service, you should leave, and your entrance fee will be refunded.
8.1.6         All readings are for entertainment purposes only.

8.2           Participants Behaviour
8.2.1         Purple Pyramid reserves the right to send away any person who in their judgement is found to be unmanageable or a danger to the safety or enjoyment of others.
8.2.2         In this event no refund will be given.
8.2.3         Any additional costs and responsibility involved in removing the participant will be borne by the client.

9          THIRD PARTY THERAPIST / COUNSELLOR
9.1.1         For the purpose of this section Third Party Therapists (TPT) includes but no limited to therapists, trainers and counsellors who hire a room from Purple Pyramid.
9.1.2         In addition, Room Hire covers any and all services the clients are paying for such as but not limited to Class, Courses, Treatments, Services and Readings etc.
9.1.3         Please note that bookings made with one of our TPT are solely between the client and the TPT and that the TPT is wholly responsible for client care whilst in the centre.
9.1.4         Purple Pyramid holds no responsibility or liability for any treatments/classes or courses etc held on the premises by TPT.
9.1.5         TPT who work out of Purple Pyramid do so on a room hire only basis.
9.1.6         Cancellations or failure to turn up is strictly between the client and TPT.
9.1.7         Purple Pyramid holds no responsibility for any loss due to cancellation of any independent therapy or event.
9.1.8         Purple Pyramid will not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. personal arrangements including travel, subsistence and accommodation.  
9.1.9         No liability is held for any loss or physical/psychological damage to a person or their items.

10      LOYALTY SCHEME
10.1.1    This scheme offers 10% of off 4-week bookings.
10.1.2    In order to qualify you need to book 6 times into the 4-week booking, in order to receive 10% of the next 4-week bookings.
10.1.3    The Loyalty card once completed is valid for 6 months.

11      GIFT VOUCHERS
11.1.1      Please note that gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.  
11.1.2      The vouchers are however transferrable, please email purplereception@outlook.com with the change of details.
11.1.3      Vouchers are only valid up until the expiry date.

12      CLIENTS’ RESPONSIBILITY
12.1.1      It is your responsibility to keep track of your appointments.
12.1.2      Please be honest, personally responsible and respectful of other people's time, clients who are rude, disrespectful or dishonest may prefer to look elsewhere.  
12.1.3      We do not tolerate any form of abuse.  We believe in treating others as we wish to be treated ourselves.

13      PURPLE PYRAMID RIGHTS

13.1        Admission
13.1.1      We reserve the right to refuse admission to any of our events if anyone is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund will be given.
13.1.2      We reserve the right to send away any person(s) who are found to be unmanageable or a danger to the safety or enjoyment of others. No refund will be given, and any additional costs and responsibility involved in removing the participant will be borne by said person(s).

13.2        Event Postponement
13.2.1      If circumstances beyond our control necessitate the postponement of an event, we reserve the right to offer an alternative date. In this instance if the new date isn't suitable for an attendee, a credit note will be offered that can be used in part or full payment towards another Purple Pyramid event.
13.2.2      Purple Pyramid can accept no responsibility for any loss due to cancellation of any programme or event. Purple Pyramid will not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure.
13.2.3      Personal arrangements including travel, subsistence and accommodation relating to the Event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk.
