COVID 19 – How it spreads
Covid-19 is a new disease. It can spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth, which are spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs, sneezes or exhales.
These droplets land on objects and surfaces around the person. Other people then catch COVID-19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth. This is why hand-washing is so critical.
People can also catch COVID-19 if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19.
If you have any symptoms of Covid19 then please cancel your appointment and do not come to the shop. We will happily reschedule your appointment for another day.
These are the main symptoms of coronavirus, as per the NHS website.
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature).
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
